USCIS I-9 Employment Verifications

USCIS trained for both electronic and paper I-9 Employment Verifications. When submitting documents, please make sure that required documentation are not expired. When using the Equifax site (app is no longer available), the employee should have or know their receipt code.

*The current version of the Form I-9, Employment Eligibility Verification, has an edition date of 01/20/25 (found in the bottom corner) and is valid through 05/31/2027.

08/01/23 Edition (Exp. 05/31/2027): Remains valid for use until its expiration date.

08/01/23 Edition (Exp. 07/31/2026) Remains valid until July 31, 2026. However, employers using electronic systems must update to a version with the 05/31/2027 expiration date by that deadline.

The current official administrator for the Georgia GAPS fingerprinting program is IDEMIA, effective February 3, 2025. Applicants can register for services through the IdentoGO website.
